We acknowledge and honor the groundbreaking work of Carl Jung, whose theories of psychological types laid the foundation for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). The 10 Elements does not seek to replace MBTI, but to complement it with an Eastern perspective on personality architecture.
Our system is rooted in the 2,000-year-old wisdom of the Four Pillars of Destiny (BaZi) and the Heavenly Stems algorithm developed by Chinese scholars during the Han Dynasty. We pay homage to the lineage of masters who preserved and transmitted this knowledge across millennia.
